Lee and I met on Match.com during the pandemic! We exchanged numbers on the app December of 2020, spoke a couple times on the phone, nothing too serious. February 2021 Lee texted out of the blue, seeing how 'dating' was going......we both had a ton of crazy dating stories. That day we spoke on the phone for over an hour, just talking about dating in general, the things we were looking for, what we truly desired in a mate. Within the week Lee asked me out on a date...he had a rule, he didn't want to talk to someone for weeks and weeks, build a connection, finally meet in-person and find you don't have chemistry. He also had a big ask! Lol, in Lee fashion, go big or go home....he asked if we had a great time at lunch would I go on a 2nd date that evening. I thought kinda of crazy but cute......I also thought, "if he sucks I'm going to have to tell this dude no thanks to this 2nd date!" I agreed and we went on our first date Friday, February 19, 2021, we literally sat and talked, ate, talked some more for over 3 hours. So needless to say we went on a 2nd date that evening........And the rest is truly history.

From that first conversation in December we both felt it was amazing to finally find someone like-minded, really looking for real love, connection, and happiness.

Shortly into our dating relationship we both shared the feeling that we had finally met the person we could spend the rest of our lives with. We talked about getting married and building a life together......I had no idea Lee would propose in less than a year. On Thursday, July 29, 2021, Lee proposed at the restaurant we had our first date at. I had no idea, he had already asked Elijah's permission, planned a family dinner, it was an amazing surprise! We've had a long engagement, allowing us to continue to grow closer as a couple and as a family. We rescheduled the first wedding date because we added our perfect flower girl!! We are excited to finally make it official and celebrate with family and friends.
